empirica experts contribute to eHealth COMPASS Special Issue on "Patient Safety"
As was recently observed by Viviane Reding, European Commissioner for Information Society and Media, "ICT systems that provide timely information can save live, improve the quality and efficiency of the health delivery system and contain the cost." This also succinctly summarises key results presented in an article by empirica researcher Dr. Veli N. Stroetmann, Dr. Karl A. Stroetmann and Jörg Artmann in the September/October 2007 issue of eHealth COMPASS (pp. 10-14), a special supplement to eHealthCOM No. 5. eHealthCOM is the major German publication on eHealth issues.
The results presented are based on the European eHealth for Safety study undertaken for the European Commission by empirica.
